Chefchaouen, the Moroccan blue city. It is based in the north of Morocco next to Tetouan. A very beautiful city that I fell in love with it et first sight, I ‘ve visited it twice and they were among my best trips ever. For the first one, It was on spring on 19 April 2014, I moved with my family from Mqid to Tetouan then Chefchouen following a very difficult road due to turns because of natural mountains but the views were so fascinating and so beautiful,the greenness everywhere,the height of mountains which leads you to the feeling of Greatness and how our God is Creative and Great. After reaching our destination, finally, we were in the blue city “Chefchouen”…Oh my God, It was amazing and still, then we decided that time to consecrate that trip to hiking ( natural activity) and the human art in the city and the traditions of its people to another time. ok, let’s back to our first trip, we climbed a mountain. It is not literally climbing but it was like passing on a wooden road built on the mountain in order to reach its top that looks out the whole city, from there, you see blue and white houses everywhere.
Oh my God, people of Chefchouen have an amazing taste: the taste of nature. Before reaching the top, and during our climbing, we made like a picnic, I remember that we have laid our carpet on the grass and eat the lunch together (It was a homemade sandwich and juice hahahaha) then we took many photos. Moreover, the atmosphere there was so enthusiastic, it was a sunny day was sunny and tourists from different nationalities are everywhere and looks of admiration of this city were shining on their faces which add a special touch to the general atmosphere there. On the top, I spent a couple of minutes contemplating and getting in touch with nature. And down, we have refreshed our souls with the fresh water coming from the mountains, It was cool.
Concerning the second trip,It was as I mentioned before dedicated to traditions and human art of Chefchouen, so on Summer this time, exactly on 19 July 2018 we have walked around the ancient city passing by its narrow paths and look at products of the city: tissue, jewellery, fruits (figs and spiny figs were plentiful because of summer), plants and flowers, small tourists gifts…I bought these ones
And again, I’ve made the same remark even after 4 years from our first visit, people of Chefchouen accord much importance to the beauty of their city and devote their time and energy to keep it clean and beautiful.

Another remark, Asian tourists especially Chinese, Japanese and Korean adore cats that are a lot in this city and took many photos to them.I 've enjoyed their energy looking with excitement to them.
PS: What a great coincidence, we have made these 2 trips on the same day which is 19, Wow, this 19 is amazing hahaha.
In short, if you want to spend a peaceful and serene time or you want to recharge your batteries and get in touch with nature and yourself, I highly recommend Chefchouen city....
